Our Team

Rick Carmichael

Rick is the Founder, Creative Director, and Principal Photographer for LuxViz.

After working for Apple Computer in California for 10 years, Rick left the US to move to Bali Indonesia in 2007 to provide professional photography and imaging services for the luxury travel and hospitality industries.

Wanda Andayani

Wanda (Rick's wife) is originally from Bali and joined the company in 2011. She functions as a Co-Creative Director, and also as the principal choreographer when we're shooting video and timelapse movies. She is also the primary photographer for our interior shots, and assists in our "Million-Dollar Editing."

To say that we have a lot of experience is a gross understatement, as we've shot and edited close to 200,000 individual photographs here in Bali. Our client list includes some of Indonesia's largest and most prestigious:
